VVV What story

BET WIN! A small condensed history by Serge CUISINIER.

What a long way since 1969.

With my friend Georges Quiqueré we toured Bordeaux and Burgundy and canvass quality products, each believed was tasted by the board, which gave its approval to the admission of a new product, this is why that our fair has always offered quality products at attractive prices. From the beginning of this operation, the Municipality, after hearing our motivation joined without restraint and with enthusiasm to this experience, without it nothing would have been possible. There are the Christmas markets and spring as well as the flea presented to the agenda since last year. These four initiatives constituting the backbone of our activities followed by thousands of Gennevillois. It is true that the arrival of a thousand children in our schools at the Christmas market is a special exception.

Thank you to all who helped build these big initiatives today reinforce the image of the city and makes us proud of the work accomplished. Today a new team works with heart and determination for ten years in order to perpetuate this great challenge and it gets there very well. Yet the Office needs support in the current social situation and action directed towards gennevillois and professional visitors and tourist needs to be supported. We receive more support at national and departmental levels, subsidies are greatly reduced or eliminated. It remains the city, stick together and work to become a more user-friendly for our children and grandchildren.

Again thank you to all who helped build these major initiatives and thank you to all who help us and we will support in our actions directed towards gennevillois. Support elected officials and administrators of the office who spend many hours in volunteer management of this association that works for all gennevillois.
